PROCESS
Developing the illustration and motifs involved a variety of traditional techniques, including pencil sketching, watercolour, and gouache painting on 300gsm rough watercolour paper, as well as gel plate printing on 50gsm calligraphy paper using acrylic paint. Each illustration was then meticulously scanned and enhanced in Photoshop, preparing it for digital printing. This blend of hand-drawn, analogue methods lends the digital design a rich, textured quality that captures the essence of handmade artistry.
